Cascade Locks Boops

Sabertooth had the honor of creating 2 sets of Boops for Cascade Locks Park Association. Both sets of Boops represent the past, present and future of Cascade.

One set of Boops is covered with imagery of native flowers that attract bees and butterflies. Flowers represented include cone flowers, butterfly bush and wood poppies, all of which can be found throughout the park.

The other set of Boops are a more abstract representation of the canal and it’s deep history of how it propelled Akron into one of the leading industrial areas of our region. There’s also reference to the areas rich jazz history. Also included is a butterfly wing to tie it together with its Boop mate.
